Aluminum die casting alloys most commonly follow the JIS ADC series: ADC1, ADC3, ADC5, ADC6, ADC10, ADC12 and ADC14. ADC12 and ADC10 are the most widely used in volume production thanks to their balance of castability and mechanical properties.
